Trauma therapy for what the body still remembers.

Whether it's a single event that split your life into before and after, or a long slow accumulation of things that shouldn't have happened, trauma lives in the body long after the story stops making sense. This is careful, paced work - no forcing, no reliving for its own sake.

Who this is for

Adults living with PTSD, complex trauma (C-PTSD), childhood emotional neglect, medical trauma, grief-adjacent trauma, or the kind of long-term relational wounding that doesn't always come with a name. You may have already done years of talk therapy and still feel like something hasn't quite moved. That's often where we start.

How we work together

  • Safety and pacing first. We do not go faster than your nervous system can integrate.
  • Brainspotting. A body-based, gentle modality that reaches material stored below language.
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS). Meeting the protective parts that formed to keep you safe - not battling them.
  • Somatic and attachment-based lenses. The felt sense of safety, connection, and choice becomes the ground everything else grows from.

What trauma therapy is not

It isn't rehearsing the worst moments of your life on repeat, and it isn't a race to "process it and be done." Trauma therapy with me is slower, more relational, and much more curious about what your system was doing to survive - because that's usually where the real change happens.

Common questions

Do I need a PTSD diagnosis to work on trauma?

No. Trauma is defined by how your nervous system responded, not by whether an event "counts" on a checklist.

Can trauma work be done over telehealth?

Yes. Brainspotting and IFS both translate well to virtual sessions, and many clients find it easier to do this work from a space where they already feel safe.
